this is a review of a recommended place to visit in jogja. so the place is called 'pasta gio'. it's specialties are pasta and roasted chicken. located in a small garage, pasta gio serves european food with reasonable price (a bit pricy actually for me as a proletarian common college student back then). since the food style is european, so don't expect some strong spicy taste in the food. a bit plain, but still nice. in my last visit there, i had this quarter roasted chicken served with spinach and mashed potato (costs Rp 40.000). the gravy was good and the chicken was huge. and usually i don't fancy mashed potato but this time, i was able to take it.
for the pasta, they have various kinds of pasta. i will recommend their soleho spagetti and carbonara fettucine (costs Rp 25.000 if i'm not mistaken). the cream tastes really nice. and you should try their american chocolate cake for the dessert, you won't finish it by yourself, trust me you'll need back up :)
